California: Zero Emissions Vehicles Made Up 19 Percent Of Car Sales In 2022

The State of California said that it has determined that 18.8 percent of all new cars sold last year in California were zero emissions vehicles (ZEVs), with 40 perecent of all of those vehicles sold in the U.S. being sold in the state. According to the state, there were 345,818 zero emissions vehicles sold in California in 2022, up 38 percent from 2021, and up 138 percent from 2020.
