    DECA Launches CoolMom.com

Los Angeles-based digital entertainment studio DECA said today that it is launching CoolMom, a new web site focused on providing video content of interest to mothers. The new site, which will feature professionally produced video, will be hosted by Daphne Brogdon, current host of TV Guide Channel's series The Fashion Team; Brogdon also regularly appears on CNN Headline News Showbiz Tonight. According to DECA, Brogdon will offer her opinions about personal life, and issues that mothers deal with but don't discuss. DECA is venture funded by Mayfield, General Catalyst, and Atomico; the firm's other productions include BoingBoing TV, CNET's Dog and Pony Show, and most recently men's humor site BushLeague.TV.
