    IP3 Deploys In Chicago

San Diego-based IP3 Networks has deployed its broadband access control solutions at Chicago's Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA). The firm said that the MPEA will deploy an urban high-speed Internet access network covering six million square feet along Lake Michigan. The network is an extension of IP3's existing network at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, and covers the McCormick Place convention center, Navy Pier, and to other tenants. IP3 is backed by Sequoia Capital and Garage Technology Ventures.
