    LeadPoint Launches Lead Marketplace

Per Pettersen, co-founder of Commission Junction, and Marc Diana, a founding member of the LowerMyBills.com team, said today that they have launched a new company focused on the buying and selling of leads in the mortgage and debt market. The company's new marketplace brings buyers and sellers together who bid on the price of leads for financial products. The company also said that its trading platform would be applicable to other lead exchange markets. The venture-backed firm prices leads based on bids, performance and member ratings. The company recently raised a Series A from Redpoint Ventures. Per Pettersen's internet incubator Estalea and Marc Diana's Breakwater Ventures were founding members of the company.
