Carlsbad-based scientific instruments manufacturer Life Technologies said this morning that it has acquired BAC BV, a Netherlands-based firm focused on the discovery, development and manufacture of protein purification products. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Life Technologies said the acquisition would help expand its product offerings in the biopharmaceutical research and manufacturing area.
