Lynx Photonic Networks Introduces Optical Switch

Calabasas-based Lynx Photonic Networks (www.lynxpn.com) has introduced a new all-optical protection switch. The company's new LightLeader 3710 product supports long-haul wavelength services such as DWDM (dense wavelength division multiplexing). The company's switches all for all-optical switching of traffic, and are used to switch traffic from one fiber or optical path to another in the case of re-routing or failure of a fiber link.
