Arrowhead Research Appoints CFOPasadena-based Arrowhead Research announced that it has appointed Joseph T. (Ted) Kingsley as its Chief Financial Officer. Arrowhead is in the area of nanotechnology development and licensing. Kingsley was most recently VP and CFO of computational drug discovery platform provider Eidogen, and was VP Operations and CFO of Paracel, a provider of high-performance computer systems for life sciences.

Vivendi Universal Inks HD Interactive DealLos Angeles-based Vivendi Univerasl Games said today that it is in a global distribution agreement with HD Interactive to distribute the company's new PC-based, 3D tactical strategy space game Nexus The Jupiter Incident. Qualcomm Acquires Iridigm for $170MSan Diego-based Qualcomm today announced that it is acquiring Iridigm Display Corporation for $170M in cash. Iridigm develops display technologies based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical (MEMS) structures and thin film optics.
