SpaceX Set For Saturday Morning Launch
Hawthorne-based SpaceX is hoping to launch its historic mission to the International Space Station Saturday morning from Cape Canaveral. The launch--which will be the first commercial spacecraft to dock with the ISS--is set for 4:55a.m. EST Saturday, and will mark a huge milestone for SpaceX in its goal to deliver cargo, and eventually, astronauts, to space. Factual Releases New Android SDK
Los Angeles-based location based data API provider Factual told its developers ysterday that it has officially annoucned the release of its official SDK for Android. WD Names Two To Board
Irvine-based Western Digital, the maker of disk drives, said this morning that it has appointed two new members to its board of directors. WD said it has added Kensuke Oka and Masahiro Yamamura to the board, both of whom are being added as part of WD's acquisition of Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. Oka is President and CEO of Hitachi America, Ltd., and Yamamura is General Manager of the Semiconductor Business Division of Hitachi Ltd. Groups Join To Promote Innovation, Entrepreneurship in Riverside County
