    NTS Acquires Certification Firm
    Calabasas-based National Technical Systems announced today that it has acquired International Management Systems, a Tampa, Florida-based provider of ISO 9001 certification. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. NTS said that the acquisition was made by its joint venture subsidiary, National Quality Assurance, USA. International Management Systems provides certification of companies for ISO 99001, an international standard for quality management used by manufacturers to assure their customers of quality manufacturing processes. NTS is a provider of testing, engineering, and related services to the defense, aerospace, telecommunications, automotive and high technology markets.
