Shield AI Names CFO

San Diego-based Shield AI, a defense technology companies that develops artificial intelligence piloting software for the defense industry, said Monday that it has named Francois Chadwick as the company's Chief Financial Officer. According to the company, Chadwick has more than 30 years of financial experience, and has served at such companies at Uber, KPMG, and Volta. Shield AI is backed by Disruptive, Point72 Ventures, Breyer Capital, and Andreessen Horowitz, and has raised more than $210M.
