Shopzilla Partners With Google
Los Angeles-based Shopzilla annoucned today that the firm has inked a strategic partnership with Google, to include its Bizrate ratings and review within Google's Product Search and Google AdWords ads. Financial details of the relationship were not disclosed. Shopzilla operates a program which lets consumers provide ratings and reviews of sellers who use the firm's comparison shopping engines. According to Shopzilla, the Google deal allows Google to display full length reviews for all retailers participating in its Bizrate Insights Program; Google displays those reviews when consumers search on products. Shopzilla is a unit of Scripps Networks Interactive. The firm's web site offers up pricing comparisons for popular products, and also gives ratings and reviews of the various sellers of those products.
