Sometrics Partners With Social Media Advertising Agency

Los Angeles-based Sometrics, a provider of analytics software for social networking applicaitons, said today that it has partnered with appssavvy, a provider of direct sales services for application developers in the social media space. According to the two, developers working with Sometrics can start today to allow sharing of their demographics data with appssavvy, which uses that data to connect advertising brands and agencies with social media applications developers. Sometrics collects demographics data and other information about users of social networking applications, on such sites as Facebook and MySpace. Sometrics is venture funded by The Mail Room fund, the venture fund run by Richard Wolpert, and backed by William Morris, Accel, and Venrock. Sometrics has also scored funding from AT&T and Greycroft.
