Stellar Pizza Snags $16.5M For Robotic Pizza Trucks

Los Angeles-based Stellar Pizza, which is developing robotic, pizza delivery trucks--currently being tested at UCLA--has raised $16.5M in a funding round, the company said last week. The funding was led by Marcy Venture Partners, the venture capital firm founded by Jay-Z, and also included Savage x Fenty, the clothing brand run by Rihanna. Stellar Pizza was founded by three former SpaceX engineers, and is led by CEO Benson Tsai.
