Tandberg Unveils 1U LTO Autoloader
Poway-based Tandberg Data announced that it has unveiled a 1U, high density tape autoloader. The company said that it supports up to 3.2TB compressed storage capacity and a transfer rate of up to 173 GB/hr. using a half-height LTO-2 tape drive using a Ultra 160 SCSI/LVD interface. Tandberg is targeting small to medium businesses with the autoloader.
