Teleflip Intros Email Service
Santa Monica-based Teleflip, a startup developing mobile phone services, said Tuesday that it has launched a new service that allows people to receive email on any mobile phone. The firm's new service, flipMail, allows cell phone users to receive emails on their cell phones. The company said that the service does not require special software and does not require a smart phone. The firm said its new service supports any POP, IMAP, or webmail email account. Teleflip is venture backed by Global Retail Partners.
