    Vivendi Buys Entertainment Developer


    Los Angeles-based Vivendi Universal's game division said this morning that it has acquired Radical Entertainment, a developer of entertainment titles for video game consoles. Radical's team of over 200 developers will join VU Games and remain at their Vancouver location. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Radical publishes titles based on The Simpsons, The Hulk, and other characters. VU Games is a developer, publisher, and distributor of entertainment titles under a large slate of brands, including Blizzard Entertainment, Sierra Entertainment, Fox Interactive, and others and such popular titles as Half Life, Warcraft, Diablo and more.
