Vitesse Delisted By Nasdaq
Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor said late Monday that its stock is being delisted from the Nasdaq National Market, as of June 28th. The company, which trades on the Nasdaq as VTSS, has been under increasing pressure after being targeted by the SEC under an industry-wide, options grant backdating investigation. ContentNext Gets Venture Funding
ContentNext, the Santa Monica-based company behind paidContent.org, MocoNews.net, and ContentSutra, has received a venture round of funding, the company announced this morning. Funding came from Greycroft Partners, a new venture capital firm run by Alan Patricof. The amount of funding was not disclosed. The company started out as a blog run by Rafat Ali, covering digital media and content. X1 Unveils Free Enterprise Desktop Search
Pasadena-based X1 Technologies has rolled out a new, personal desktop search tool targeted at businesses. The firm said today that it has a new, free desktop search tool that is available for enterprises, that allows users to search desktop email, calendars, and documents. X1, which provides Yahoo with its desktop search product, said that the free client application disables features that can affect Exchange and network performance. The tool is bundled with Yahoo! Toolbar.

RazorGator Signs Deal With Online Marketplace
Los Angeles-based RazorGator, a company that provides event ticketing services to sports and entertainment events, announced this morning that it has signed a deal to make its services available via the Rearden Commerce Network. Rearden Commerce operates an online marketplace targeted at employee travel and services. Broadcom In Motorola Q Win
Irvine-based Broadcom has been designed into Motorola's new Mobile Q handset, the company said today. Broadcom said that its wireless Bluetooth silicon and software is integrated into the Moto Q Smartphone, and marks the first major handset that uses the company's Widcomm software. Broadcom purchased San Diego-based Widcomm for its Bluetooth software in 2004. Broadcom's software supports the Windows Mobile 5.0 platform. MegaPath Launches Threat Management Service
Costa Mesa-based MegaPath, a provider of virtual private networks and managed IP services, is targeting the security space with a new managed security service. MegaPath said that it has launched a new service it calls SecureConnect to help businesses safeguard their information assets. Fandango, IAC Partner On Movie Ticketing
Los Angeles-based Fandango, which provides online movie ticket purchases, has inked a deal with IAC Search & Media, the owner of Ask.com, Excite, iWon, and My Way. Fandango's services are now available through all of those web sites. Fandango said that the new relationship was launched in partnership with Tribune Media Services, and provides both movie purchases and movie listings, reviews, and ratings to those web sites. Stamps.com, Smithsonian In Postal Promotion
Los Angeles-based Stamps.com is promoting a new contest that gives its users a chance to display their own custom postage at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum. Stamps.com said today that customers who order stamps at the company's popular PhotoStamps service can win a chance to have their stamp displayed at the Smithsonian Naitonal Postal Museum.
