    The Active Network Buys InfoSpherix


    San Diego-based The Active Network is in a deal to purchase InfoSpherix Incorporated, a subsidiary of Spherix Incorporated, in a deal disclosed Thursday. Spherix, a Maryland-based firm, said that it would sell its InfoSpherix subsidiary, which contracts with the government to design, host, and operate park reservation services and public service contact centers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
