Iomega Enhances Desktop Hard Drive Line

San Diego-based Iomega announced this morning that it has introduced a sweeping redesign of its Iomega external hard drive line. The company has added a stackable design, the ability to vertically place drives, security slot, and more. The drives will be based on 7200 rpm drive technology and support USB 2.0, dual USB 2.0 and FireWire 400, and triple USB, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800. The drives offer a range of capacities and are bundled with various backup and recovery tools.
